AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

Ongoing education for those caring for metabolic and bariatric patients so they are able to recognize the potential signs and symptoms of common metabolic and bariatric surgery complications to ensure patients can be managed appropriately.

1. Care providers will review the most common metabolic and bariatric surgery complications encountered in clinical practice.
2. Care providers will recognize and differentiate the potential signs and symptoms associated with these complications.
3. Care providers will apply appropriate management principles to support timely and effective patient care.

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is accredited by The Kentucky Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
