2025 GI General Tumor Board

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.00 hours)

This forum creates an avenue for a discussion with multiple providers to determine the appropriate recommended plan of care for a patient based on that patient’s individual case and needs. 

-Uses clinical case presentations in the area of general tumor oncology to address optimal surgical and treatment options

1. Utilize multidisciplinary approach for the management of oncology patients
2. Discuss the diagnostic approach and treatment plans of oncology patients with a multidiscipline medical panel
3. Update knowledge based on pathology findings & differentiate modalities of treatment (surgery, medical therapies, radiation therapy and genetics) in oncology pathology cases
4. Discuss and form treatment plans for oncology patients incorporating AJCC staging and NCCN treatment guidelines
5. Educate physicians on current cancer trends locally, regionally and nationally which provide opportunity for treatment and outcome comparisons

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is accredited by The Kentucky Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
